Nicolle's Media and Appearances

Nicolle posted the only recording she has of her Wake County Public Libraries Haunted Carolina 2023 presentation, "All the Reasons a House Might Be Haunted" on her new YouTube channel, but be warned: it's not the best quality. Her little Sony camcorder was at the back of the meeting room in relatively low-light conditions because she was presenting her PowerPoint on a big screen, so the audio and video quality were not up to her standards. That said, if you're interested in watching it (the smaller the window, the better it looks) or just listening to it, you can now!

In early September 2023, Nicolle had the honor of being interviewed by Sarah Kirton of MysticMag about The P.E.E.P. Podcast and her experiences investigating with NSPIR. Read the article, "Chronicles of the Paranormal - Niki Morock."

Nicolle was happy to be included in a wonderfully comprehensive article by Melanie Allen about empaths in early January 2023 in which she shared one of her physical emapthy experiences that happened during a paranormal investigation at the Ferry Plantation. Read "What is an Empath? Experts Reveal 5 Signs You Might be an Empath."

Nicolle was delighted to be interviewed by Shannon LeGro on the Into the Fray podcast in January 2022 for ITF Episode 325, when she shared her stories about a year spent living in a truly scary house when she was a teenager. You can listen to that episode at intothefrayradio.com.

Nicolle was honored to be a guest of the Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship for their October 2021 meeting. She shares some of her paranormal stories from childhood through the present, including several stories from her 10+ years of paranormal investigations. You can watch it now on SFF's YouTube channel.

On Halloween 2019, Nicolle had the pleasure of sharing interview time with her friend Nelson Nauss, Executive Director of The Ghost Guild, on WUNC Radio's The State of Things. It was a wonderful experience!  Read the story and listen to the archived interview here, or find the episode on The State of Things podcast.

A bit more detail about Nicolle:

  • In her own words:
  • I'm an intuitive empath who has had paranormal experiences my whole life. Throughout my childhood, my parents told me it was my imagination because they didn't want me to be frightened. However, that thought made me fear what my imagination could do.
  • In 1990, we moved to the scary house in Raleigh. It was a year of fear, and the reason I started reading about ghost investigations. I was tired of living in a nightmare.
  • By my 20s, I embraced my "weirdness" and sought out people who could teach me how to control my experiences.
  • Eventually, I started using my skills to investigate allegedly haunted places and to help others not live in fear.
  • Paranormal Credentials
  • Vice-President of The National Society of Paranormal Investigation and Research (NSPIR), a 501c3 based in Raleigh.
  • Nicolle was a member of NSPIR from November 2009 until they disbanded in November 2022.
  • The group had the exclusive contract with the City of Raleigh to investigate Mordecai Historic Park from 2008-2016. She still contributes time and talents when asked by the current contract holders because she loves that place.
  • NSPIR participated in the Haunted NC programs during October with the Wake County Public Libraries for over 10 years.
  • Creator/producer/publisher of The P.E.E.P. Podcast (P.E.E.P. stands for People Experiencing Everyday Paranormal)
  • Author of three paranormal-themed novels and the non-fiction book "Please, don't call me psychic: stories from my paranormal life" available through Amazon. The non-fiction book features lessons learned from a decade of investigations with NSPIR.
  • Reiki Master,  Certified Emotion Code Practitioner, Empath, and Intuitive
  • Nicolle is a life-long student of the unsolved and unexplained with the hope that some day we'll find some answers without losing our sense of the magic of it all.
